Dickerson ranked No. 246 on MLB Pipeline's Draft Top 250 as a Kentucky high schooler in 2022, but some swing-and-miss concerns and his Louisville commitment dropped him to the Twins in the 20th round. He barely got on the field with the Cardinals, redshirting in 2023 and accumulating just 17 at-bats last spring. Following a strong summer in the Northwoods League and a transfer to Indiana, he slashed .314/.381/.632 with 19 homers, helping him land in the fifth round to the Mariners.

A right-handed hitter, Dickerson featured some of the best bat speed and exit velocities in the 2025 college crop, producing at least plus raw power to all fields. Some scouts questioned how well his pop will play in pro ball because he hadn’t fared as well against quality pitching, especially higher-velocity fastballs. He has made decent contact despite aggressively looking to pull pitches, though he could do more damage with more selectivity about which ones he puts into play.

Dickerson is a well-rounded athlete with plus speed and 20/20 upside. His quickness gives him solid range in center field, where he displays average arm strength. If he can find more consistency against premium pitching, he has the chance to be a regular up-the-middle player.
