Scouting grades: Hit: 50 | Power: 55 | Run: 50 | Arm: 50 | Field: 55 | Overall: 55

Made is yet another intriguing shortstop prospect in this year’s class and has a chance to make an immediate impact on the organization that signs him. The switch-hitting infielder has above-average power potential from both sides of the plate and has a good feel for the strike zone. In the batter’s box, he has a slightly upward swinging motion and uses it to hit the ball hard into the gaps. He also shows flashes of home run power.

Physically, Made has a lean body with room to pack on more muscle and strength as he matures and his body develops. Given his soft hands and good footwork, Made is recognized as an emerging defender with plus arm potential. His quickness and natural instincts give him a chance to be a difference-maker defensively in large part because he can make the routine and extraordinary plays.

Made trains in the Dominican Republic with Basilio Vizcaino, a member of MLB’s Trainer Partnership Program.

Milwaukee added to its shortstop depth last January with a pair of MLB Pipeline’s Top 25 international prospects in the 2024 class. Jorge Quintana (No. 12) was given the highest bonus at $1.2 million, and coming up right behind him was Made (No. 22), who signed for $950,000. The 17-year-old has absolutely taken off in his first taste of pro ball and was named a Dominican Summer League midseason All-Star for his efforts. Entering July 27, he was hitting .258/.473/.592 with five homers, 22 steals and more walks (25) than strikeouts (22) through his first 35 games.

Made, a switch-hitter, entered the Minors with a power-over-hit profile, so he raised a few eyebrows with his discipline and approach in the DSL. Those traits will likely be challenged more when he heads stateside. Standing at 6-foot-1, he has above-average power potential from both sides of the plate -- he has gotten significantly more time from the left than the right, but his splits are sound -- and he’s already getting that pop to play some in games. He could become a plus power hitter as he adds more muscle to a lean body.

Made has a strong arm that's his best defensive asset to this point. The Brewers have given him ample time at both shortstop and third base (and even some looks at second) to find him a defensive home. His above-average speed, which allows him to be aggressive on the basepaths, may fit up the middle, but his throwing arm fits best on the left side of the dirt. The Crew has seen Jackson Chourio and Yophery Rodriguez use solid DSL performances to leap quickly up the chain, and Made could follow a similar path.
