A physical specimen from Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic, Silverio is known as a supremely hard worker who has maximized his impressive physique to emerge as an exciting offensive prospect in the 2026 class. Santo Domingo has produced Hall of Famers David Ortiz and Adrian Beltre, as well as current superstar Juan Soto. It’s also where Silverio trains with Valdez Hitting Club, having honed a powerful swing that has placed an up arrow next to his name among fellow international prospects.

That smooth left-handed swing, and the ability to leverage it for extra-base power, has helped Silverio excel during in-game action. His head stays still throughout his swing and he features a slight toe tap as a timing mechanism, which when coupled with his plus bat speed and 207-pound frame, helps the ball really jump off his bat. He’s able to make contact with a variety of pitches, but as he gets into the professional ranks, he’ll continue to focus on mashing the driveable ones to maximize his power-to-all-fields profile.

Having spent time at shortstop as an amateur, Silverio has begun to get more of his defensive reps in the outfield. He lacks the explosive speed or fluidity to hold down center field but he’s plenty athletic enough to be a solid corner outfielder. With his power bonafides, the bat will be the carrying tool, especially as he continues to fill out his frame.

Silverio received the highest signing bonus in Boston's 2026 international class, signing for $1.4 million out of the Dominican Republic. He stands out most for his bat speed and power potential. A shortstop earlier in his amateur career, he has become a full-time corner outfielder during his pro debut in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League.

Silverio has a quick left-handed stroke and a 6-foot-1 frame that features more strength than that of most 17-year-olds. Though his power will be his carrying tool, he doesn't sell out for home runs. He has a smooth left-handed stroke, makes good swing decisions and uses the entire field.

Almost all of Silverio's value will come from his offensive production because he's a below-average runner with so-so range on the outfield corners. He features average arm strength and has spent much of this year in right field, though he projects more as a left fielder in the long run.
