Level is an athletic, switch-hitting infield prospect with fluid swinging mechanics and a natural feel for hitting. He has the potential to hit for both power and contact -- from both sides of the plate. Scouts have been impressed with his elite bat speed.
A twitchy athlete with good reaction times, Level has enough range to stick in the infield with improved footwork. To back that assertion up, his arm strength has been his most notable tool on defense.
Level projects to be an impact player at the next level and has drawn comparisons to former Major League infielder Rafael Furcal. He trains in Venezuela with Dennis Suarez, a member of MLB’s Trainer Partnership Program.

Among the players the Giants landed in their most recent international crop, scouts are most bullish on Level. Signed for $997,500 out of Venezuela, he has earned some comparisons to three-time All-Star Rafael Furcal and Top 100 prospect Brayan Rocchio. Level will make his pro debut in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League.
Level has a fluid swing from both sides of the plate and good feel for the barrel. While his hitting ability is more obvious than his present power, he featured some of the best bat speed in the 2024 international class. He also has some loft in his stroke, so he could develop into a 15-20 homer threat as he gains more muscle.
A quick-twitch athlete, Level has solid to plus speed. He has good actions at shortstop and the requisite strong arm for the position. There's no reason he should have to move, but his tools also would fit well in center field.
